【十九大】報告首邀外籍專家翻譯「打虎」變「take out tigers」

十九大報告出爐，在國內外均受到廣泛關注，當局為了提升報告的外文翻譯質量，邀請來自英國、加拿大、西班牙等多名外籍專家，參與了報告外文譯本的核稿工作，也是首次邀請外籍專家提前參與報告的翻譯工作。 官媒近日公布數句簞文，當中包括一些重要指導思想，例如「新時代中國特色社會主義」譯作「Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era」，「打虎、拍蠅、獵狐」則譯作「take out tigers, swat flies and hunt down foxes」。 官方公布譯文： 1) 新時代中國特色社會主義 Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. 2) 不忘初心，方得始終 Never forget why you started, and your mission can be accomplished. 3)登高望遠，居安思危 Aim high and look far, be alert to dangers even in times of calm. 4) 全面從嚴治黨 Seeing Party self-governance exercised fully and with rigor. 5) 堅持反腐敗無禁區、全覆蓋、零容忍 No place has been out of bounds, no ground left unturned and no tolerance shown in the fight against corruption. 6) 堅定不移「打虎」「拍蠅」「獵狐」 We have taken firm action to “take out tigers”, “swat flies” and “hunt down foxes”. 7) 不想腐的堤壩正在構築 Moral defenses against corruption are in the making. 8) 行百里者半九十 The last leg of a journey marks the halfway point. 9) 大道之行，天下為公 We should pursue a just cause for common good. 10) 打鐵還需自身硬 It takes a good blacksmith to make steel.
