【英国升学】BNO移居英国第四大城市利物浦 附优质公立中小学校名单

有BNO父母打算计画在明年移居到利物浦，不知甚么地区有好的公立中小学校呢？

利物浦（Liverpool），是英国西北部港口城市，距离伦敦325公里，乘火车到伦敦需2小时40分钟。利物浦市区的人口约为四十万，英国第四大城市。利物浦有完善的城市交通体系，覆盖整个默西塞德郡（Merseyside）地区，并连接周边的大曼彻斯特郡（Greater Manchester）、柴郡（Cheshire）与兰开夏郡（Lancashire)） 。

利物浦还是著名乐队披头四的故乡，都是在此发迹的。两支英超联球会，利物浦和爱华顿也位于利物浦。

物浦市内建筑独具风格，有著名的大教堂、市政厅、圣乔治大厅、大剧院和音乐厅，并拥有一所英国久负盛名的老牌名校利物浦大学，可上溯至清朝年间；市内建有欧洲最古老的中国城。

默西塞德郡（Merseyside）是个很大的地方，学校分布零散，利物浦是郡内最多人聚居在城市，其他近郊地方有Sefton, Wirral 及St.Helen 地区，例如，从默郡（Merseyside）到韦勒拉尔（Wirral）大约16.5公里，驾车或乘公共汽车前往学校的时间为28至35分钟，家长有心理准备要驾车送上学。

优质公立中学方面The Blue Coat School Liverpool是利物浦一所历史悠久的文法学校，成立于1708年。其成绩至今还十分优越，是全英最好的文法学校之一。其他的学校还有1840年成立的Liverpool College 利物浦学院等。利物浦共有三所大学，分别是利物浦大学University of Liverpool、Liverpool John Moore Univeristy 和Liverpool Hope Univeristy，其中利物浦大学是属于罗素集团的研究型重点大学。
